Jannus Live Goes Wild for Tropidelic

Tropidelic ft Mike Pinto - People Talk (Live)

Whenever Tropidelic comes to St. Petersburg, Florida, things get a little wild, but when you bring in KBong and Mike Pinto into the mix, you get an absolute banger of a show. Jannus Live played host to these three incredible powerhouse acts, and it couldn't have been a better night, despite Florida's infamous brisk autumn air forcing concert goers into hoodies and pants. This was probably for the best, because it brought everyone close to the stage with a groove in their step. Mike Pinto opened things up with an incredible set, featuring some members of The Hip Abduction.

The entire set contained so much fun with Pinto's punchy guitar skanks and catchy intones.

Cody Moore of The Hip Abduction whipped saxophone solos into the mix, enthralling everyone in the venue. Throughout the entirety of the set, screaming voices permeated in the cool autumn air.

Upon the arrival of KBong, the air filled with a harmonious love, warming the bouncing souls from within. The set hypnotized all in attendance. The smile radiating from KBong was infectious and spread smiles like wildfire, putting everyone in a perpetual groove. Prior to official start of the evening, KBong and the band met with VIP's, listening to stories, trading hugs, and of course playing a couple of songs. When speaking with Nature Studios, Kevin Bong emphasized the importance of sharing time with fans,

"The fans are everything, we wouldn't be here without them, we really lean on the fans a lot to spread our music, to share our music, and to be here in Florida and see the recognition we're getting and to see fans come out tonight is a beautiful and amazing thing."

Florida couldn't be more grateful to show up for such a heartwarming set of musicians.

Tropidelic too played a private set for VIP's, it was a sensual and soft set, but this precursor to the evening was just a sliver of the energy that the Ohio natives brought to the stage later in the evening. By the time they came up on stage, the fans hummed with a potent vitality.

Vocalist James Strips spat lyrics with rapid fire, while horns blazed, drums slammed, and the bass rumbled through the venue like a bowling ball.

The energy flowing all around was intoxicating, sending everyone into a joyous frenzy of music. By the end of the night, the cold and dreary evening turned into a lively one. When the lights came back on, the crowd stood astonished at the pure momentum produced the three bands. Yet, it had to end sometime. The departure felt bittersweet, but no one can ever take the memories away, and St. Petersburg will eagerly await the return of Tropidelic, KBong, and Mike Pinto.
